Chef Ramon Ruiz emigrated from Mexico to San Francisco, California in 1980. A lover of Italian cuisine, he spent 14 years working at Two Guys from Italy, steadily working his way through the ranks. Soon after being sent to Minnesota to help open new locations, Ramon realized he had found his home, and began a new career with Buca di Beppo. He spent nearly 17 years with the company, rising from line cook to Executive Chef and Paisano Partner, honing his skills along the way.
In 2011, after 30 years of hard work, Ramon finally achieved his lifelong goal, opening Andiamo Italian Ristorante in Eagan. Today, Andiamo is a thriving community kitchen and local favorite, with growth and expansion on the horizon.
